Receives the \u201cLeading Multidisciplinary Education Group of the Year \u2013 Maharashtra\u201d award<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 31:<\/strong><\/strong> Mumbai Educational Trust<\/a><\/strong> (MET) has been honoured with the \u201cLeading Multidisciplinary Education Group of the Year \u2013 Maharashtra\u201d<\/strong> award at the India@2047 Leadership, Innovation & Global Power Summit & Awards<\/strong>, held at IIT Delhi on August 20, 2026<\/strong>. Smt. Vishakha Bhujbal<\/strong> received the award on behalf of MET from none other than Member of Parliament and noted author-diplomat Dr Shashi Tharoor<\/strong>, marking the institution\u2019s continued recognition for excellence in delivering multidisciplinary education.<\/p>\n

Dr Shashi Tharoor<\/strong>, who graced the event as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker<\/strong>, addressed the audience on the urgency of aligning India\u2019s institutions \u2013 educational, corporate, and governmental \u2013 with the country\u2019s long-term global ambitions. MET\u2019s recognition at this summit places the institution among organisations acknowledged for contributing meaningfully to this national conversation, reaffirming its leadership in delivering multidisciplinary, industry-aligned education across its League of Colleges<\/strong>. The award adds to MET\u2019s growing list of accolades recognising its contribution to shaping industry-ready, future-focused education in Maharashtra and beyond.<\/p>\n
